ALL ABOUT THE salsa4fun LOCATION(S)
UNIQUE TEACHING LOCATION
As of January 2023, Salsa4Fun has moved to Amsterdam’s most creative and cultural hotspot, near the NDSM terrain in Amsterdam.
With this large space with a perfect dance floor, we have all kinds of possibilities for salsa classes, salsa workshops and salsa events. Of course, there is also a cozy bar with lounge area to enjoy a nice cool drink before or after.

SUPER GOOD ACCESSIBILITY
Both by public transportation and by car, our location is easily accessible. There is ample parking in front.
Are you coming by car?
By car, surprisingly, we are also very easy to reach.
From the highway, you drive on the poppy road like this until you see the Karwei and the Kwantum on the right (the furniture boulevard)
There you have to get in, and immediately left to get in front of the furniture mall. Drive to the other side because that’s where we are around the corner.
Free parking every day starting at 7 p.m.
Until 7 p.m. 1.60 per hour
Are you coming by public transportation?
That’s great and super easy!
from Amsterdam Central Station:
metro 52 to Noorderpark, then take bus 35 toward Molenwijk get off at Mosveld and walk about 400m
or 1 stop further at Floraweg stop and then walk back about 400m, total travel time about 15 minutes
bus 391 or 391 direction Zaandam get off at Mosveld or 1 stop further at stop Floraweg, total travel time approx. 15 minutes
In addition, bus 36 Sloterdijk/Station North and 38 Buiksloterham/Station North will arrive at the Floraweg/Klaprozenweg intersection
There is also a ferry to IJplein, then another 10-minute bike ride
and from KNSM island to Zamenhofstraat, also another 10-minute bike ride
Are you coming with a two-wheeler?
By bike via ferry CS to Buiksloterweg approx 10 minutes (2.5km)
via ferry Pontsteiger to NDSM approx 6 minutes (1.7km)
For your info: So from NDSM is a little shorter, but that ferry goes much less oftenat night
You can easily park the bike in the street in front of the dance school.
Do lock it properly, of course, and take the battery out of your bike to bring to the location. You can also park your motorcycle or scooter very easily and safely.

Extra practice in addition to your salsa classes
The salsa socials in our “Salsa4Fun Salsa Club” are approachable and super fun salsa nights to practice all your moves from the salsa class.
We almost always have an international salsa DJ coming to provide the music and there are free workshops.
The teachers themselves will be there to still help, answer questions or dance along if they can in terms of crowds.
You will also meet all kinds of nice other dancers and at the bar you can get delicious drinks to enjoy for a while.
